Advanced Performers
BACT’s Award-Winning Competition and Touring Performance Program
Now in its 7th year, Advanced Performers is Bay Area Children’s Theatre’s nationally recognized educational theatre program. In February, this year’s cast of Matilda Junior received awards for Excellence in Dance and Excellent Student Direction at the Junior Theatre Festival West in February. This award-winning, competitive-level traveling musical theatre team is for children ages 8-18. Participants develop musical theatre skills with BACT specialists in dance, voice, and creative storytelling, with an emphasis on ensemble work. Candidates interested in auditioning for next year’s cast can email amber@bactheatre.org for more details!
Our Academy program provides quality and focused theatre skill building curriculum for children from Kindergarten through High School.
