BACT Plans To Pause And Realign

A series of challenges have emerged that have derailed our progress since re-opening this season — and now threaten our future.

BACT will pause programming at the end of summer 2023 following our now-running production of Giraffes Can’t Dance and our upcoming summer camp programs. All after-school programs will also run through this school year; however, BACT has decided it will not go forward with its production of Don’t Let Pigeon Drive the Bus, which was set to open in July.

What Should I Do?

Bay Area Children’s Theatre would like to offer a few options in light of our current situation. We are happy to turn your previously purchased tickets into a credit for the future when we reopen, transfer your ticket to an available Giraffes Can’t Dance performance, or turn your tickets into a donation to save our theatre! We need your help to keep us going!

You can get credit, transfer your tickets, donate them, or get a refund! Click the button below to learn more.

We understand that these options are not viable for everyone, and are more than willing to offer a refund for any purchased general admission tickets, members’ guest tickets, or family snack packs.
