    Our Season

    Llama Llama, Live

It's been a big first day of school, and Llama's happy to be home and wearing his favorite red pajamas. After his bedtime story, Mama Llama tucks him in and pops downstairs. Llama’s toys try to help him relax, but he’s too wiggly. He needs a drink of water. But where did Mama Llama go? Why isn't she coming? Our original, world-premiere musical will have everyone doing the Bedtime Dance!

Recommended for ages 3 and up (Performs in Berkeley, Sunnyvale & San Francisco, June - August)

Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

Minli, a spunky young girl in an ancient mythical China, sets out on an adventurous quest to find the Old Man of the Moon and ask him how to bring good fortune to her weary, hard-working family. Along the way, she rescues a friendly dragon.

Recommended for ages 7 and up (Performs in Berkeley, September - October)

Last Stop on Market Street - Limited Run!

CJ hankers after a car, a new bike and headphones. But he can’t afford them. Ride with him and his loving Nana on the Dragon Bus as he meets fascinating fellow passengers and learns to use his eyes, heart and imagination to find beauty and wonder in unexpected places.

Recommended for ages 5 and up (Performs in Berkeley, October)

A Year with Frog and Toad

Families will delight in this heartwarming, jazzy-rhythmed tale of friendship, as cheerful Frog and his more reserved pal Toad swim, sled, bake cookies and otherwise romp through a year of comic adventures, accompanied by their woodland animal friends, like Snail, who, by golly, will deliver the mail.

Recommended for ages 3 and up (Performs in Berkeley & San Francisco, November - January)

    Construction Site on Christmas Night

Down in the big construction site, Bulldozer, Excavator, Cement Mixer, Dump Truck and Crane Truck are giving their all to build a big new home for the fire trucks before Christmas. Will they make it? And what surprises are in store before they bid each other goodnight once more?

Recommended for ages 3 and up (Performs in Sunnyvale & San Francisco, November - December)

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Step through the magic wardrobe with Lucy and her siblings into a land of mythical creatures frozen in eternal winter under a powerful witch’s spell. Two actors and four dancers create this fantasy world as the children meet Aslan, the great lion, and learn about love, loyalty, and overcoming evil.

Recommended for ages 5 and up (Performs in Berkeley & San Francisco, February - April)

    Uni the Unicorn

The other unicorns laugh, but Uni, who has golden hooves and sparkling purple eyes, is sure that little girls are real. Far away (but not that far) a real little girl believes in unicorns, despite what everyone says. One day, rain steals the magic from unicorn land. Can wishing for friendship restore it?

Recommended for ages 3 and up (Performs in Berkeley, Sunnyvale & San Francisco, April - June)

    Theatre for the Very Young

    Wheels on the Bus

Have fun exploring who lives in your community, as our littlest theatre-goers board a “bus” and drive through town, stopping to meet the baker, the mechanic, and other workers who ask for their help as they do their jobs and engage with the neighbors, making music all along the way.

Recommended for ages 6 months to 3 years (Performs in Berkeley & San Francisco, August - February)

    Good Night, Gorilla

You’re not dreaming! Our mischievous gorilla and his zoo pals are tiptoeing out of their cages once again to follow the zookeeper home for the night. This wildly popular, interactive theatre experience for the very young returns by popular demand. Don your pajamas and come along!
